I rarely see people draw Chaos. It's a darn shame. He's one of my all time fave Sonic characters. SHAME ON YOU SONIC FANS. YOU MAKE CHAO CRY BECAUSE OF THIS AND THAT MAKES CHAOS SAD FACE

Because they truly care about Chaos and for this, I am grateful. I love people that REALLY CARE about the characters. Chaos is very special to me so I appreciate anyone that pays him any attention XD So it makes me happy to know someone else out there loves him... Thank you. I was actually expecting them to ask me to draw Chaos

We always talk about him together. Hahah

I thought it'd be neat to have him absorbing a chaos emerald into his body.

This was fun! I haven't drawn Chaos in a LONG time. Too long. I haven't drawn much Sonic art lately to be honest. I really need to get back into it!

I can't stop admiring this long enough to type an actual reply.

I assure you that is a very good thing.

There's a sense of power about the shining Emerald and the water swirling around it that is really striking... and I love the way the Emerald matches the green of his eyes here.
Also, that Chao is adorable. ^^

I should also honestly thank you for your artist's comment! It means a lot to me that I can talk to you about Chaos, that you care about him so much too. That's not easy to find, sadly, but I can echo your thoughts on the matter exactly.
Having you, a dear friend who understands this, draw Chaos, who I really do love... there aren't enough words to express how much this commission means to me, because of that. Thank you.

This is so pretty~! I just love the little things that you do with your sketches, like where you choose to darken or lighten or the subtle speed lines. It just creates a lot of depth for the picture.

I'm curious if this is drawing with thick lines for you, because it does look thicker compared to the NiGHTS picture.
